To Lucasta, Going to the Wars by Richard Lovelace
This is a pretty cool poem for someone that is going away for a long time to give to a lover. I don't really agree with him going away for war, when it seems as though he is leaving her for someone else. But then I see him leaving her for war as another love of his. It's something he feels very passionate about and he wants to persue it. It sounds as though he has more passion for the war than he does for his true love. I think he should stay with her if he truly loves her, instead of going off to try to show off to her. This poem has a rhyme scheme of every stanze the second line rhymes the last line of the stanza and continues on the whole poem. I don't really like this poem because he choses something that will last for a short time while what he has could last a life time.
The Little Boy Found by William Blake
This poem continues my theory that the boy is dead and wandering around for someone to find him. I this poem God appears as his father to find him. This is why I think that he is dead trying to find his way to heaven and God appears to help him get there faster. I see it as his mother is dead also and that God was bringing him to his family in heaven so they could be together. I really like this poem when you read both the Little Boy Lost and this poem together, because together they are two great poems. I can't relate this poem to anything because of the way I see this poem. There isn't any rhyme scheme that I've noticed. I would definitely recommend this poem to viewers.
The Little Boy Lost by William Blake
This poem is a sad poem when you think about losing someone. I think of this poem as wondering alone in dark is one of the worst things anyone can experience. I think of it as the after life wondering along by yourself. At first I think of the boy being dead and him wondering by himself all alone forever. There is no particular rhyme scheme to this poem but its a pretty good poem, not great but good. It fairly simple but has a good meaning to it. This poem can be related to events of people losing someone and wandering around for them.
The Fly by William Blake
I really like this poem because it really makes me think about life in general and about all the little things in life. It makes me think why am I better than a fly what makes us different, isn't it alive and doesn't it feel. This poem just really makes you think and I really like that about this poem. I like the ending of this poem out of all the poems I've read. He says "Then am I, A happy fly, If I live, Or if I die." That ending is awesome and puts me in a good mood. There's a rhyme scheme at every stanza the second ling rhymes with the last line. The poem the fly is by far one of my favorite poems.
The Sick Rose by William Blake
This poem is kind of hard to understand but I like it. I think of the worm in this poem as the pain in love and it sometimes does destroy peoples life. Like in the last line where he says "does thy life destroy." I can't relate this poem to my life because I haven't fallen in love but I'm sure some people can. This poem is more of a sad poem to read and makes me sad when you think that some peoples life has been destroyed by love. I don't see any rhyme scheme but overall this is a great poem for the broken heart for some odd reason.

Advice to my Son by J. Peter Meinke
I thought about everything he was saying was the truth and I can relate to this poem. My father always tells me the same things about taking advantage of the opportunities that we are given. The subject of the poem is love, the father has love for his son and wants the best for him. The tone is more settle like he's just letting him know what he has to look forward to. I like how he says "live your life as it's your last day but plan for the future." He wants him to have fun but still remember that he's going to be here longer that one day so don't do something to stupid. I like how he used types of food that got you cravings going yet he talked about wanting more, something better. Thats true because once you have something good you want something better than what you just had.
